While my fellow lady cutesports did a great job of rounding up some of yesterday’s action, I was just so excited for not only football but everything else that happened over the weekend. Below the jump, I give you Hit & Run of this past weekend, in photos.
- Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tennessee Titans, 13-10. Adds a new look to tail between the legs, eh Collins?
Tiger killed at the BMW Champs with 19 below par and 8 strokes ahead of 2nd place. Ferosh!
Denver Broncos vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 12-7. This is after Brandon Stokley caught a tipped pass and 87 yards later, TOUCHDOWN!
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Carolina Panthers, 38-10. McNabb left the game with a cracked rib. Adjust your fantasy teams accordingly, and here's to a speedy recovery :"
NY Jets vs. Houston Texans, 24-7. Mark, a celebration well deserved. And only one big f-up!
NY Giants vs. Washington Redskins, 23-17. Tynes was definitely the hero of the game, scoring 3 field goals including this 45 yarder.
Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears, 21-15. This kid's shirt really just summed it up - Rogers kicked some serious butt, leaving fans most likely thinking the same thing: Brett who?
After defeating Wozniacki 7-5 and 6-3, Kim Clijsters won the US Open for the ladies, just a month after coming out of retirement. Way to go, mama!
And last but not least, Federer. Who is insane.
Roger Federer had one of the craziest returns ever, beating fourth seed Novak Djokovic 7-6 (3), 7-5, and 7-5 on Sunday's US Open Semifinals. Wow dude.
And as for tonight, I await with bated breath as to whether the Bills can pull off a crazy upset against New England at their home field. A girl can dream, can’t she?

No love for Clijsters? Come on!
You’re absolutely right, snoopy – can’t leave out the big weekend win from a lady! Thanks!!
Watch your mouth, snoopy.
I love the homemade remedies people have for fixing their out of date fan gear. I root for Aaron Rodgers to do well, even though I have no vested interest in the Packers.
I’m so glad Clijsters is back. Now I can watch women’s tennis again. And her little girl is just too adorable.
Ehhh I don’t know about Rogers kicking butt. He wasn’t terrible, but I really do think Jay Cutler was the MVP for the Packers that night. XD
F the Broncos and F Stokley! I think being a Bengals fan should be counted as pennance; this kind of fluky thing only happens to us (well, and the Browns). Thank God the little one can sleep through loud noises. :)
