Celtics Hottie Ray Allen had a career-high 35 points in the Celtics win over the Portland Trailblazers. They really needed to find a morale booster after back-to-back losses. I mean, they went from having 4 losses to 6 losses in the span of two games. That’s rough. But they kept their wits about them and beat the Trailblazers, those plucky Celtics. Allen went on a tear after halftime; 26 of his 35 points came in the second half when he went 9-of-13 from the floor. Also, he is not to be confused (as I sometimes do) with Allen Ray of the eye-poking out incident.
Not-at-all-hot OJ Simpson got a stern talking-to from angry Clark County Judge Jackie Glass and then got his bail doubled, to $250,000. She told him, “I don’t know if it’s just arrogance. I don’t know if it’s ignorance. But you’ve been locked up at the Clark County Detention Center since Friday because of arrogance or ignorance — or both.” Snerk. Ass.
Speaking of someone people have strong opinions about, the Red Raiders upset the Aggies in college basketball, giving Bobby Knight his 900th career coaching win. Say what you will about Coach Knight, that’s a lot of wins. Also, it gives me an excuse to embed this in my post:

This one’s for J-money’s mom: Tarheel Hottie Tyler Hansbrough had a game-saving block to seal the win for #1-ranked North Carolina. They came dangerously close to being upset by the pesky Yellow Jackets from Georgia Tech, but managed to pull it out, 83-82.
I’ll confess, I find him dorkily cute.
He’s not just dorkily cute, he is “future father of my children” cute… The game last night was awful, Georgia Tech spent 40 minutes clawing and scratching and fouling the crap out of every Tarheel they could get their hands on, yet the refs called maybe 1/4th of the offenses. To say it was frustrating to watch would be a ridiculous understatement. I get the whole, #1 team in the country not going to get easy calls thing, but seriously, do the players deserve to be beat and bruised after every game just because they are ranked #1? Poor babies. I will nurse them back to heath should they need assistance.
I too find Tyler Hansbrough oddly attractive. Though hottie is maybe a little strong.
Ladies… why no HDH yesterday? Are we being punished?
That’s a “no” on Tyler.
Aw, Andrea, let’s not encourage her…
It”s just a matter of time before she tapes over my t-ball videos with Carolina games.
Also, I think Tyler looks like a cow.
Pam – As I said yesterday, that was my bad. Minda – I was supposed to put some hotties in the post today so we could merge the two and give Texy the night off, but life got in the way tuesday night.
And I agree on the cow thing.
Oh I see. I missed that yesterday, TSW. How about two hotties next Wed. to make up for it!?!
Is that…. STRAIGHT NO CHASER?!!?!
No, I’m sorry. It’s “Sheet Music.”
Im not sold on your “fact” that it was a career high 35 point effort from Ray Allen
Construda, you’re right. I meant “season-high” and never noticed that I typed it wrong.
