The Top Five Games of the Week

Ah, football season is finally here! I think I speak for everyone when I say that it couldn’t have come soon enough. Preseason football is so boring. Watching starters play about one quarter does not feed my appetite for football. Also, this will be my first season playing fantasy football (wish me luck!), so that makes the start of the season that much more exciting. There are 13 games this Sunday and another two on Monday. Some should be entertaining, while others are sure to be a snooze-fest. Unless you’re a fan, you probably aren’t counting down the hours until the showdown between the Rams and Seahawks.

So without further ado, I present to you (in no particular order and with my completely biased opinion) the top five games of Week 1…

He’s MY Dreamboat

Brady Quinn had his starting NFL debut tonight.  He threw for 240 yards and 2 touchdowns.  It’s a shame Jay Cutler had to go and throw for 400+ yards, but I don’t care.  I thought Brady looked good out there and I hope to see him start from here on out for the Browns.

Dear Blogary,

Golly, I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I joined the NFL. The Browns are swell guys, especially Derek. We’re like total BFFs. I was so happy for him last year, what a great story! I mean, of course I really want to play. I gotta get out there and show everybody what I can do! Yeah! But I’m just thrilled for Dbear. Maybe this year we can find a way for us to share QBing duties. We already share so much, I’m sure it’d be awesome!

Hit and Run – I guess I have to talk about this Bonds thing

But first…

Ladies’ favorite Curtis Granderson hit a double in first inning (Ed. note – seen fielding) giving him 30 doubles, 15 triples, 15 homers, and 10 14 steals so far this season. Congrats Curtis! Keep it up boys! I want to see Sean the Tigers make another run this Fall.
