I can already hear you saying “Bee, this is the Advent Calendar of HOTNESS! Where is my well-chiseled bare chested hunk? Because…for gawd’s sake, did I really wait all day for TIM THOMAS?!!”
YEAH, I DID THAT, ALRIGHT?! Awesomeosity = hot in my humble opinion. And Tuukka Rask was in net last night so the only time I got to see Timmy was when Hockey Night’s camera followed him into the locker room or something looking all business-like until he did this funny deke thing towards the camera. IT WAS CUTE, OK?!!
Also, last I heard, he was still sporting in Movember stache. He looks a bit too Gerald McCraney in this pic (below) for me, which may be a slight improvement over looking like Drew Carey.
But here’s the thing about Thomas: he’s 37, he was a late comer to the big league, he’s a Vezina and Conn Smythe winner, he’s in the Top 5 so far this season in wins, save percentage and goals against average (12, .936, 1.93) and…people love him! He’s funny and personable and a joy to watch. And he does stuff like this:

But I also love that he never forgets where he came from, hometown-wise and hockey-wise. Just watch this clip below that aired the night the Bruins won the Cup in June: see who his teammates name as the hockey player they worshiped growing up, and then listen to who Thomas mentions.

Funny, great goaltending skills, not a prima donna streak to be found. Seriously, if you can’t find it in yourself to like Tim Thomas, ask yourself if you have a soul.
