I apologize for the tardiness of my post but oy, what a week. I’m taking a calculus course in intersession – second class was last night. I’m thinking that waiting five years between math courses wasn’t such a great idea. Equation of a line? What in Carl Yastrzemski is that?!
But I digress. Ducks fans may be familiar with this guy: Vernon, BC’s Andrew Ebbett. He had 32 points in 48 games this past season for Anaheim. He scored his first-ever NHL playoff goal during the series against the Sharks and he plays on a line with Teemu. Here’s hoping to see more production out of that line on Sunday when the Ducks go back to Detroit for Game 5.
Now the reason I’m rooting for Andrew is because I happen to know his gramma and one of his uncles. And don’t we all like to see a little guy with a big hockey heart be successful? Giv’r, Andrew!
That’s so sweet! You know his family. I just interviewed Adam Beady from the Ducks and he mentioned the team’s tremendous effort! http://www.chicshockey.com
What a cutie! And it always means more when there’s a personal connection to a rooting interest.
I am Andrew Ebbett’s Third Cousin! Seriously!
I am rooting for my third cousin all the way! Go Andrew
That’s awesome! You must be proud!
I never heard of him, but I can’t say that anymore! I like him.
I almost fainted when you suggested that you couldn’t remember the equation of a line…but I’m weird and I like calculus, so there you go.
You like calculus? You’re right that is weird. But I do enjoy statistics so maybe I’m weird too.
Yes, I’m a strange beast, who happens to be studying for a PhD in mechanical engineering.
HA! Well, it HAS been five years since my last university-level math course, and I tend not to use it much in my daily life. I respect anyone who speaks the amazing language of math.
