I love how the Caps decided to do a sexy photo shoot with all their players this year. The female fans are grateful.

And I hate to be the shallow little weasel here, but it’s got to said though Ovie is supernaturally awesome and all, he’s hardly a 10 in the looks department normally, he is? Yet STILL these photos belong on my school diary with love hearts like I’m 12! Why doesn’t EVERY NHL team do this?
Seriously? I think it’s Ovie’s eyes. The fact that he’s not smiling his toothy grin totally helps, too. But you can’t help but love Ovie because of his infectious personality. My mom used to call him the caveman, and now she’s like “he’s kinda cute!” He’s her favorite. lol
Why more teams don’t do this is beyond me. I know they got a ton of flack for launching the Club Scarlet thing, but drop the Scarlet Caps and keep the GQ photo shoot. I mean, the percentage of women attending sporting events just keeps growing. What better way to make more of them come to games than to flash sexy photos of the players on the ice on the jumbotron. When I go to the Verizon Center, I can’t wait for Greenie, Stecks or Brooks to get a point, just so I can see their pictures! lol

Re: the goalie tag-If they didn’t wear masks, their pretty faces might get maimed! And that would be tragic.
