Before I get started, I just want to say how much I’m going to miss all our departing Ladies; joining this site was one of the only good things that happened to me in a very crappy summer last year and I’m going to miss sharing ideas (and pictures) with you on a regular basis. Minda and I have some high expectations to live up to.
I love the first weekend of the NCAA tournament. Last year I had my wisdom teeth out the Wednesday before and so I watched every game while recuperating; this year I had to work Thursday and Friday, but I also got to eat solid food and not have painkiller induced hallucinations about Jim Nantz, so it was pretty much a wash. Anyway, this year’s tournament yielded some great pictures … and even better opportunities for captions.

In the NCAA tournament goodplayers don't lose their heads. Great players can lose their heads and keep playing.

I had a caption, but I'm kind of just enjoying a close look at Earl Clark. As is his defender, apparently.

As always, the Oklahoma Men's Basketball Glee Club opens practice with a spirited rendition of the state song.

For some reason my mom was absolutely repulsed by Blake Griffin. I don’t think he’s really hot or anything, but I don’t think he’s repulsive!
One of the guys I was watching the game with thought Blake looked funny, too. We decided it was because his eyes are unusually small.
There is also something a little odd about his head in general. I can’t quite figure it out but I think he’s kind of weird looking.
I’ll definitely agree that he is weird looking.
His eyes are bit small and he has a short forehead. That and he tends to have this semi-vacant, “duh” look (and not just when he’s concussed).
Now that I think about it Sam Bradford has small eyes too. What is going on at Oklahoma? :P
