Week 6 – Shaking up the Stand By Your Man Posts. Again.

TSW – Hey Holly and SA – Did you see this headline yet?
*wonders what the sound of two exploding heads is like*

In all seriousness: No surprise this year, really, with all the new receivers the Pats acquired and the resurgence of the Colts’ running game. They’re basically running our 2005 offense, the premise of which is: Of the eleven guys on the field, be able to throw to about eight of them. Should be a lot of fun to watch.

And yes, it’s nice for Tom to finally reach Peyton’s level. A lofty aspiration for a Wolverine–I’m happy for him! ;)

Holly – *beatific smile, lazily examines claws* Oh, and actually in all seriousness, that is hands down my favorite form of football to watch. I live for pass-happy gameplans, so I’m glad to see more teams adopting them.

SA – Nov. 4. And Tom’s breaking Peyton’s single season TD record. Write it down.
And so do I. Which makes me wonder why I root for Michigan when all it does it run run run.

Editor’s Note:

And now for something completely different… Metschick and Andrea discover there are some fine looking look men on their teams who are not the quarterbacks.

Metschick – And my FFB woes continue. I hate my entire team, they are a bunch of ingrates. Fuck them, they are a bunch of Eric Gagnes. They still haven’t won for me, but that’s okay – I’ll just continue to ignore those worthless wastes of space.

Because I’m mad at Philip Rivers (and at myself for sitting Eli Manning – he’s graduated from ‘tarded Manning), here’s Terence Newman, my top scorer for this weekend.

I mostly picked the picture because of the stars on the uniform. Lucky that it’s the little things that make me happy.

Andrea – Adrian Peterson: Beast. He is a giant sexy beast. He scored me 41 fantasy points with his 200+ yards and 3 TDs on my way to a MONSTER week. WOO HOO!!!!!

  1. And to think, a couple weeks ago I poo-poo’ed a trade for Todd Heap from my fantasy team, in exchange for Wes Welker and Derek Anderson.

I quit FF as of now forever and more.

  2. I started Adrian AND Wes! I didn’t even need the rest of my team to win my game!!! I officially am in love Adrian for all he has done for my otherwise hapless FF team.

And to think, all the guys in my league razzed me three kinds of Hell when I drafted him in the fourth round. See who’s laughing now bitches!!!

  3. ha ha, i wish i could’ve seen colts fan’s reactions to that “tom turned peyton” headline.

i wish even more that i could see their faces if brady DOES break peyton’s record this year. hoo boy, now THAT would be priceless. :)

  4. As a Colts fan I would gladly trade Tom breaking Peyton’s record if he flames out in the first playoff game like the Colts did in 2005.

  5. Adrian Peterson is a fucking beast! He broke the single game rushing record as a rookie! If he didn’t get hurt by those dirty playing packers he would have set the single season rookie rushing record! He is a fucking BEAST!
