  1. I wasted my whole evening staring at that darn poll screen, refreshing every 2-3 minutes, IMing everyone I know, and dreading that McBain was going to come up with votes at the last minute.

    Productivity = 0.

  2. Pete – That is impressive.

    McBain… that is the hardest one for me to say goodbye to. I hate the Flyers, but really, he runs a good site.

    Really, all in all, I am sad anyone had to loose. And that is not just the v&t + wine talking.

  3. We now join HG’s press conference live in progress… “well, seedings dont really mean anything..every team here believes they can win and CDB is a really talented team..we were fortunate to get out to a big lead in the first half and then just keep running our sets and eventually get the victory..but CDB, man they’re tough man.. they never stop playing, fighting..it was a great contest between two teams that wanted to play in the next round. I have nothing but good things to say about that team from Michigan.. I know we got some things to work on if we plan on sticking around but all in all I’m happy to be advancing and I am glad that…” Ok welcome back to the studio.. As you heard HG has the utmost respect for his opponent, but it’s gonna be interesting to see if he can build on this momentum moving forward. Your thoughts Jay?

  4. Dan L.: If it’s any consolation, you have me very nervous for the last 48 hours. We’ve been pretty much 1:1 the whole time. Good round.

    Whew. Who’s next?

  5. So not only did I lose by the worst margin of anyone in this entire bracket, but nobody bit on my “Hack the Vote, Win a Fathead” offer. I can’t even cheat properly.

    *Sigh*

    Where’s my wooden spoon?

  6. What an incredible bracket – every contest got over 1000 votes, including the positively obscene 2326 between 289 and the state of Kentucky. Apparently everyone with internet access in the entire Commonwealth voted.

  7. Oh….you’re already counting me out against William, Holly? I see how it is. Don’t think I don’t have a few tricks up my sleeve.

  8. I’m actually terrified of a complete bracket re-seeding, and I somehow face Kentucky. Well you know what Kentucky??? You can call be UAB.
