Monday was the big day for pitchers and catchers from several MLB teams to report. Others, like my Yankees, report Tuesday. And then you have those like my second husband Derek Jeter recovering from surgery and other ailments who have been at their respective training facilities for a while. All this to say HOORAY FOR BASEBALL’S WELCOME RETURN! How about a photo essay?

Yes, R.A., baseball is back and IT IS GLORIOUS!
Hooray! I am currently monitoring the Cards’ beat writers for more photos of Lance Lynn, who apparently lost twenty pounds and shaved (and now does NOT look like he’s dressed up as R.A. Dickey for Halloween). I am really, really going to miss having R.A. in New York, though. He’s a delight.
He is indeed. I’m doing the same on the Yankees’ side. CC lost ten pounds! I’m sure he still steps on the waistband of his pants to stretch them out though.
