Pretty sweet finish. The girl won followed by the Canadian-trained Derby winner. It doesn’t get better than that.
Although I didn’t watch it live, I was so happy for her (and her jockey who chose to go w/her instead of the favorite). I just can’t bring myself to watch anymore since Eight Belles.
I’m glad that she won, but I’m just happy she made it all the way through. I hate horse racing, I just hate seeing such beautiful creatures break down at the end, it makes me cry.
