What a crazy night of baseball!
The Rockies have punched their ticket to their first World Series. They beat the D-backs, 6-4, for the NLCS sweep. Join me on a picture journey through last night’s two ball games…
After Matt Holliday’s 3-run HR, it seemed to be a foregone conclusion that the Rockies would be winning this game. The D-Backs tried to make it interesting late, but were short 2 runs when it was all said and done.
I love these pics where the catcher is jumping into the arms of his pitcher. I love to see unbridled joy.
Aw, look, it’s Kaz! I never begrudged his time here in NYC, and I’m glad he’s able to blossom in a great city like Denver.

In the NFL, the NY Giants beat the Atlanta Falcons, 31-10. Really, did anyone think that the Falcons would win? Joey Harrington played like Joey H., and the Giants took advantage at playing one of the worst teams in the league.

I really want to root for the Rockies and the NL, since I’m so conflicted about who I dislike more – Sox or Indians. The only problem is every team I’ve rooted for (Tigers, Cubbies) has royally sucked, so I have no choice but for root for my most hated team then, right?
