Cardinals Hottie Scott Rolen may be done for the season. I’m trying not to fling myself off a bridge, but it’s very disheartening. We’ve come so far in the past 10 weeks. *Sniffle* He’s had cortisone shots in his shoulder, but it just doesn’t seem to be enough. Call-up Hottie Brendan Ryan will most likely take over at 3rd base for the remainder of the season. Ryan was quoted as saying, “I don’t have a choice. We’ve got guys who are banged up. I’m not banged up enough.” Awwwwwww. Furthermore, if anybody sees fit to bring me the heads of Alex Cintron or Hee-Seop Choi on a platter……that would be looked upon favorably. Brewers Hottie Ben Sheets came off the disabled list and outpitched the Cubs’ Ace Who Shall Not Be Named in a 6-1 victory last night that moved the Brewers within 1 1/2 games of the NL Central-leading Chicago. He had been on the DL since July 16th with a sprained finger in his pitching hand and (hee) a blister. Milwaukee’s win put them back at .500 and kept the Cardinals 2 games out of first. MLS Hottie David Beckham left last night’s Galaxy game in the 30th minute with a sprained right knee. He fell down and went boom, I guess. He rejoined the team on the bench in a suit and tie (mmmm) for overtime and penalty kicks. He sure is an expensive import who does a lot of pine-riding, isn’t he? Several times a day, people ask eachother “what do you think athooks looks like” and if the other person has seen me they ususally tell them: ‘David Beckham’. It’s all a big joke, until they see me and I really do look just like David Beckham. I don’t really have a point here other than to say Scott Rolen is another victim of Geroge Patella’s rusty knife. Boo: Feeble medical team. Boo.
I loathe and despise Ben Sheets, even though he is adorable and did help bring the US some Olympic gold.
I’m wondering what’s going to happen this weekend when Becks was supposed to head to England to play for the national team again.

I feel your pain L.A., I feel your pain. I have been on the Cintron/Choi witchhunt for years as well. The only consolation in an injured Scotty Ro is that B-Ry is filling in… I just adore him… and it is a double bonus for me that he “Rocks the Socks”. Have you noticed B-Ry’s habit of always biting his shoulder? Not only does he do it when batting, but you can catch him doing it in the field as well. Side note: My friend’s younger sister met B-Ry at Al Hrabosky’s bar after a game a couple of weeks ago, and when she asked to have a picture taken with him he said “You actually know who I am? Well of course you can have a picture!”
