Roger Clemens wins #350, pitching 8 innings, and allowing only two hits. Torii Hunter is now 0-for-life against Clemens, after going 0-for-3 last night.
The Rockies best the Mets, behind a 3-run homerun by Matt Holliday. (Who knew such cuties were hidden in the Rockies?)
But the Mets lose no ground, because the Braves lost against the Dodgers. First-time All Star Russell Martin had four hits, but it was Matt Kemp who was The Man for the Dodgers. Kemp had 3 RBIs, including a 2-run homerun.
Argentina beat Colombia 4-2 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Copa America, behind Juan Roman Riquelme. (Reading about soccer makes me feel so worldly.)
And to wrap things up, here’s a cute story about MLB players and their search for iPhones. UPDATE: The Dugout has a funny look at this story.

Um Metsy, I can’t read the whole article.
Whoops, I just realized that it’s an ESPN Insider piece…
“Justin Verlander may not have been the first player with an iPhone; knowing Junior Griffey’s penchant for toys, he probably presented his son Trey with one at 7 a.m. Friday….[Verlander's] girlfriend went to the store and was able to get one for Justin Morneau, as well…Curtis Granderson had made his iPhone preparations Friday…[He'll] have [his] on the first day of the break.”
Now go read the Dugout.
Metschick, that Dugout is hysterical.
Also, nice Russell Martin pic. I almost included that in the All Star Hotties post. He’s a cutie.
Grady Sizemore hit a grand slam last night.
Soccer in the “Hit & Run”?
Well done La Donna di Mets, well done.
