Really sorry to see Sven go.
Not so sorry for MDG, since I’m pretty sure I promised to make out with him if he lost.
I’m sorry to see Sven go too…I had him in my final four.
That’s not the worst consolation prize I’ve ever heard of.
To be fair, I also promised to make out with him if he won.

…seriously, thank you. Quite fun, even if I came to an end sooner than I’d have liked.
I wish I had organized some kind of Chicago-style election shenanigans, outside of a few of my gf’s co-workers voting on Friday morning. The margin actually grew over the weekend, from 52-48 to 55-45.
I think Sven lost for three reasons:
1. I captured the key blogger demographic of “individuals who will never see their own abs again”. Not a group to be underestimated in a contest like this.
2. Sven’s quote. I think to many people attributed it to him instead of understanding its context. The quote combined with his picture probably got me a lot of “fuck that guy, I’m going for the fat, bald douchebag” vote.
3. Obviously, I’m hotter than the bottom log of a bonfire.
