The Miami Heat suffered a blow last night when Dwyane Wade got entangled with Shane Battier in the 4th quarter and dislocated his left shoulder. He left the game in a wheelchair with tears in his eyes (c’mere Dwyane, we’ll make it better) and was taken immediately to the hospital. The extent of the injury is unknown at this time, but Wade will not travel to Dallas for the game tonight between the Heat and the Mavericks. The team has two days off after tonight and are home against Cleveland on Sunday. Dwyane Wade, get well soon. Also because my rookie fantasy season was going really well, I’m about to pounce on 3rd place in the league. Help me Obi Wan-Dwyane, you’re my only hope.

BTW, his name is spelled Dwyane. (I know, I didn’t realize that till Nov., when someone on Deadspin pointed it out to me – I swear I think I’m dyslexic.)
I even knew that and I still do it wrong. Although, we’re luck I typed “Wade” because half the time I type Dwayne Wayne. He could have done so much better than Whitley.

Also, I’m putting up Top 25 Action early tonight, because I’m running a Dance-a-Thon this evening to raise money for a women’s shelter and wanted to make sure I got it up this afternoon. Hope that’s okay.
